Many of you have expressed serious concerns about losing your health benefits and pension benefits. These benefits are because of legislation, and “what the legislature giveth, the legislature can take awayeth”, Jerry Veldorf, 1976. If you would like to help ensure we do not lose these benefits, join us Monday morning at 8:30 in J Parking Lot for a bus ride to Trenton. There are still a few seats left for our NJEA Back Off Rally. In Trenton we will let the legislators know that we care about our benefits and we will tell them to *Back Off*. There was good news in the Press today about the proposed legislation, but the legislators have not voted yet. We still need to apply pressure.
