Board of Trustees Meeting

Thursday, August 11th, 2011

Well, it’s been more than a month and we haven’t heard from the Board of Trustees.  So, you need to remind them that we are still here.  We wish all members to attend the Board meeting on August 23 at 7 PM in Mays Landing in J202.  Please help to spread the word around campus and stay tuned to the blog for more details.

Volunteering

Monday, August 1st, 2011

I still see emails from the college requesting that we volunteer our time.  I wish to remind everyone that we are working without a contract and that the college seems to be in no hurry to give us one.  Sticking to the contract and not volunteering your time are two ways to remind the college of how hard you work and how important you are!   They should be reminded at every opportunity.

Negotiation Update

Wednesday, June 29th, 2011

I wanted to take a moment to let you know that there has been communication between the two sides and the process continues.  I also want to thank you all for your recent efforts and continued attention to the state of negotiations.   I will post updates here and let you know when we need your help again.  So stay tuned and stay cranky.

Board Meeting: Good Show!

Monday, May 30th, 2011

Thank you for your support at the board meeting.  Your strong presence showed that we are all behind the eloquent words spoken by Nick Ganaway and Effie Russell.  (Click here for Nick and Effie’s comments.)   The message was clear:  Please return to the table and negotiate in good faith.  Please check here (or sign up for email notification using the link on the left) for updates.  In the meantime, keep the date of the next board meeting free. (June 28th in Cape May)
